Stainless Steel
The austenitic stainless steel that we use for our creations gives the cover strong resistance to acid attacks and corrosion and comes from German technology. Named with the initials Aisi, it is composed of iron, carbon and chromium and has a low thermal transmittance value. It is the reason why AirDecor has chosen it, so as to reduce the phenomenon of condensation present in many accommodation facilities and private homes.
ABS Plastic
ABS is a synthetic thermoplastic resin, the result of the copolymerization of acrylonitrile, butadiene and styrene. The material is ATOXIC and RECYCLABLE and able to withstand temperatures between -40 ° C and + 90 ° C as well as acid and base attacks.
Stoneware
The stoneware used is made with clay, quartz sand, glass and other minerals, silica and feldspar. These natural raw materials are processed with water and baked and at very high temperatures. The result is a compact and durable structure, resistant to chemical agents, water, abrasion, loads and peaks in temperature.
Security Glass
The tempered glass used in our grilles is achieved by raising the temperature of the glass to 640 degrees in the oven and then cooling it rapidly. The process creates a more resistant and safer glass, which if broken shatter into small blunt pieces, ensuring safety.
Solid Wood
The solid wood is made from a single block of natural walnut or oak, treated with a non-toxic water-based protection. Placing stainless steel around the edges stabilizes the ordinary small contractions, typical of bare wood.
Real Leather
The leathers used come exclusively from full grain cow leather and are certified for the use of Tuscan vegetable tanning under the brand name Tuscan Vegetable Leather. They are only treated with natural tannins from plant extracts without the use of harmful chemicals. The natural markings and subtle scratches, testify to the purity of the material; the result of centuries of craftsmanship from the heart of Italy.
Neodymium Magnets
The magnets used in the AirDecor griles are the most powerful in the world and guarantee a perfect seal. They never lose their effectiveness as long as you do not subject them to temperatures above 80 degrees centigrade. Composed of Neodymium, Iron and Boron, they conform to the RoHS Directive.
Polyester
The Pes 240 is the material behind the thin anti-dust patented AirDecor filter. Labelled under class “M”, it significantly reduces the harmful pollutants entering the ventilation vents and should be replaced at least once a year.
